Performance & "The Feel"
Is 100kg really enough resistance for serious training?
Yes, and it feels heavier than you expect. Because Active Digital
Resistance eliminates momentum, you cannot "throw" or swing the
weight like you can with iron. 100kg on the Gym Monster provides
constant, relentless tension. Additionally, advanced modes like
Eccentric Mode (adding weight on the negative) make standard weights
feel significantly lighter by comparison.
Is it safe to bench press alone without a spotter?
It is safer than a traditional gym. The Gym Monster 2 features a
patented Spotter Mode. If the machine detects you are struggling at
the bottom of a rep, it automatically reduces the resistance to let
you finish the movement safely. You can train to failure alone with
zero risk of injury.
What happens if the power goes out while I'm lifting?
Safety is the priority. If power is lost during a lift, the digital
motors lock the cable position instantly prevents the "weight" from
crashing down on you. The arms are designed to hold the load
statically until power is restored or the tension is manually
released.

Do I need a monthly subscription to use the machine?
No. Your Gym Monster 2 comes with a Lifetime Free Membership. This
gives you full access to "Free Lift" mode (build your own workouts),
the standard workout library, and basic data tracking. The Wellness+
Subscription is an optional upgrade for those who want AI-driven
coaching that automatically adjusts weights based on your strength
progression.
Can I use the Speediance App without the machine?
Yes. The Speediance App (iOS/Android) is free to download. You can
use it to view your workout history, plan future sessions, and manage
family profiles even when you are away from the machine.
Hardware & Setup
Does Gym Monster require professional installation?
No. The unit arrives fully assembled. It features a "fold-and-roll"
design with no pulleys or cables to rig. You simply wheel it into
place, unfold the floor plate, plug it into a standard ZA wall
socket, and start training.
What is the warranty coverage?
We stand by our build quality. The Gym Monster 2 comes with a
2-Year Warranty covering the frame, motor, and screen. Local support
